The Hummer to the left of the HTTP://

Post by ucana422 »

I am sure that many of you have noticed that there are quite a few Hummer related sites that have a Hummer icon to the left of the site address in the address bar, that would be cool to have a red and white one for this club, anyone know how to go about getting one of those, and how much it would cost?

Hi,

This is called favicon.

You have to put the icon on the root of the web site and call it : favicon.ico

(If you want Internet Explorer to read it, it has to be "ico" format...)

Format : 16x16 or 32x32

You have to add the following HTML code between the HEAD

:

<head>

<link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico" >

<head>

... who can modify this forum?
