Re: Trail prep -Bobcaygeon
Was there to check trails out, only made it thru one as time ran out for me.
Great trail, lots of bugs this time of season, great scenic lunch stop.
Very tight "S" turns thru out, snug fitting between multiple trees. Slippery rock climbing and descents.
Winch is mandatory for this run, as well as taking a few bypasses. Trail experiences would be a great advantage.
Mirrors for a "99" were hit multiple times with no breakages. Only one wound , as I was climbing up a hill between 2 trees
on slippery angled turf , truck slid sideways into a tree in the mid section. Luckily , the roof rack took all the beating. Had to winch sideways off the tree to get out.Needed almost full length of winch cable.
With all my other trails I have been on, this trail was the tightest. I used my winch more this trail then ever in the past.
Good trail riding in August for those whom are going. I unfortunately will be (if all goes well) at the Drummund Island event.
