Hey guys, I had an awesome time running/camping with you all, even though I had to put up with the American jokes! Who'd have thought we'd have pyro (Sugarphreak?) and explosives nuts (2N3RNFG?) in the crowd?
Turns out the odd feeling that I had that something wasn't right with my ride was correct. I discovered large grease spots inside my front pass. wheelwell Sun. afternoon when I got back to Calgary. It had slipped the half-shaft boot off of its mount from under the two clamps that secure it. Took it to Calgary HUMMER to get the run-around that they wouldn't repair it under warranty, though Salt Lake has no issues with it what so ever. So I shelled out $500 bucks for repairs and took the old parts and receipt to the Salt Lake HUMMER dealer where they are submitting it to GM for reimbursement. If I was up for another loooong road trip, I'd be back for the next run. You guys and gals are great-----thanks, Jim
