Hello Everyone,
Thanks for the replies and sorry for my late reply. I found a source in Canada for a box that steps down from 24v to 12v. Any alternator place can order it. I also ordered the 24v to 12v trailer light step down from the US. It was expensive but the only thing that works other than changing all my LED lights on the trailer (company is called SEC America if anyone needs it).
As to all the other questions - Yes I bought it from Winn in Kelowna. It is fully loaded with full kevlar doors and the gunner stand and turret.
I'm now trying to sound proof and weather proof the beast. Its a fun ride but loud, wet and I would assume very cold in the winter. Kascar has quoted me an add-on heating and AC unit. I have some local guys ready to build me custom panel interior walls. It will be diamond plate with sound deadening foam on the underside and we'll bolt it on with existing holes. I want to retain the authenticity of the truck.
Need help!!! 24v system and need to tow a 12 v trailer

Hey EJW
If you're in the GTA let me know and we'll get together. I usually do work on my H1 Wagon at the airport in my hanger. Maybe I can help with your 24v to 12v problem. I made some calls today and just waiting for calls back.

Great meeting you Markus,
I've been posting on The Hummer Network too and I've gotten a tonne of information about "weatherizing" a HMMWV:
