I was up at the Campbellford 4x4 Challenge on the weekend. It was great to see all the trail rigs and see the engineering in them and see them in action along with some non trail rigs. It was a little dissapointing that the pits were too deep and rocks were too big but 2 people made it through each and it was great to see.
Obviously the clubs putting it on wanted it to be a great show and did a great job letting the spectators know what they were looking at and detailing some of the rigs for them. It was very educational which was great for people that were new to the sport or had never seen this stuff before. It was just kind of boring watching everyone get pulled out. You definately needed a purpose built crawler to get over those rocks. I dont think they intended for the pits to be that deep.
