Ok I take you've had the outer casing for your remote break (where the key ring attaches) simple fix is to recase the remote see dealers in the US on Hummer network site one sells designer cases for under 30 you just take the guts of yours and put them in the new case. other is to find a shoe shop and have a cover case made. I have the same problem. they have h2 as well
