Re: GMC 3500 OR FORD F-350
For 12500LBS, according to http://auto.howstuffworks.com/auto-part ... chart9.htm, your going to need a 2008 Ford F450 at 16000lbs. The next closest is a 2009 Dodge Ram 3500 at 12300lbs,
2008 Ford F350 - 10700lbs, 2009 GMC Sierra 3500 - 10100lbs ... not going to cut it. Hummer best is a 2009 H2 8200lbs.

What a FORD....what are you going to use when that breaks down on the road pulling your mighty H1!?!? Afterall, FORD stands for Found on Road Dead!!!
Besides Chevy will outpull Ford anyday! A 3500 Crew Cab Dually with the Duramax and the 6-speed Allison will pull a combined vehicle trailer weight of in excess of 24000lbs!!! And yes I am Sure about that as I have several buddies with exactly those trucks and using a fithwheel trailer they are hauling Backhoes, 16000lbs without the trailer, 250hp tractors with loader and implements totally 20000lbs without the trailer and have been doing so for years and getting way better mileage than any Ford could ever muster!!!
Just my 2 cents! <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Re: GMC 3500 OR FORD F-350
T.C. check entertainment Capt. Black posted a video of a H1T stuck on a Ford Taurus with two pick ups attempting to pull Off the Hummer as Roys And Markus did The Ford drags The H1 ,Taurus , And a GM pickup attached to the Taurus away. H1 only needed to chock the wheels that were hanging in the air or used locking diffs
