Super nice pictures TC!!  Looks like it was a great time.  Wish I had the time and money to go on some of these Hummer events.  Being a teacher is great, but restrictive to holiday time!!

Nice Vid, but it still doesn't show how the carnage happened!! Any videos of how it happened or are you and Roy able to give us a blow by blow! How long did it take you all to get him out??? Did the AMG techs have him back up and running for the 2nd day??? no one video the breakage, started mid afternoon and got at at 12:30 am. Repairs done on the spot .We had all parts with the group and 2 techies.

When coming down the hill, rock face, somehow the halfshaft blew. Then at the bottom of the rock,4' later, we had to make a sharp turn. Could not do this with a broken shaft, so winching sideways started and with all weight on the one wheel, the ball joint separated. Then the fun started. Try to straighten a vehicle out to do repairs when the most weighted side is broken. 3 winches and a lot of time, removed the wheel and drove on three to leveller ground to repair.
