Gives me a very good idea of what is going to work and what isn't in the future.
I was thinking I might just stick with the stock 33's dia. and go wider (12.5 or 315), with the manual 5cyl I am already feeling it stall out on me once in a while in 4H, I think 35's would only hurt me more.
Also In case anybody was looking for the stock wheel information:

According to popular opinion - 35's are reccomended on the 5cyl but personally I would check around and see if anyone has and see what they say...
I have had my 35's on for a few months now and i love them! Granted I have the Alpha, but I think it could handle it... I'm wishing I had gone to 37's as I'm finding plenty of room after the new torsion bar keys...

Yes you are right 37s can fit but highly not recommended!!! The front diff dies easily when pushed off-road and the 37s exceed the maximum tire size rating of both the front and rear diffs. With 35s you don't need to regear with 37s you will need to regear otherwise mileage and performance will suffer, especially with the I-5.

From experience, the stock rims, with the stock offset, with 35x12.50 tires will just clear the edge of the fenders, any different offset than stock will put the tires way out and require a lift to prevent rubbing on the rear of the front fenders while turning. The 35x12.50 will fit nicely into the wheelwell on all H3s with a torsion bar lift with little to no rubbing, unless the tire has sidebiters!

All you need is a front leveling kit, like one from Readylift that changes both the torsion keys and the position of the front shock. You do not need to extend the bumpstops in my experience the 35s stuff into the wheel well just fine without excessive rubbing at extreme max compression...very rare...you need to be two wheeling your H3 so that opposite corners are off the ground. Not many trails force this!

Sorry - I just re-read my post and it should have said "aren't" reccomended but I say go for it.
I did the levelling kit through National 4WD and I love it! I also have one turn on the torsion bars as I like it a bit stiffer. I also reccomend the Samco shackles. They take awhile to get here from Nevada, but are really good quality! A good idea in your case as will help the breakover angles as I remember you kept getting the rear diff. hung-up. These two mods and the new tires will give you 4" lift in the front and 3" lift in the back.
You should see my baby now - looks totally different from that run we were on together in July. I just wish we could get everyone together for another run while the weather holds....

Oh, 35's Arn't reccomended for the 5cyl!
Hmmm, if that is the case maybe I will stick with trying out a wider set of 33's after all.
About 80% of the time I have gotten stuck it has been a traction problem anyway... not so much a clearance issue.
Mine pretty much looks exactly the same as last July... except I bent the hell out of my rear plate pulling out of a cross ditch,

Actually if you have an older H3 06-07 then you have the 4.56 gears and you will be fine with the 35s...you should even notice better mileage. A friend of mine had 35s on his 06 H3 and found that it was overall a way better truck to drive then it was stock!!!

Lol - I know I bent the right hand side of my bumper up a bit sliding backwards....
If you are going to do the lifts - I would stick with the 35's as they are well worth it - I would suggest the magnaflow exhaust and a high flow filter to add a few horses to the engine and a couple extra pounds of torque.
Look at our american friend from Utah (I feel like an idiot as his name escapes me... twinmill is his call I believe) but he does fine with his 35's and he has the 3.5 engine..... Trust me you'll be fine and much happier with the 35's. Gives the truck a much nicer profile.
Kevin just posted while I was typing this and mentions that they have been regeared.... I didn't know that.... I guess it comes down to what you want to do... So yours being newer, it has the lower gear ratio but you also have 20 more horsepower that the 06's and under.... I still say go for it but free up some more engine power with the filter & exhaust...
