So much for that, I called in twice today and was ignored and put on hold right away until I hung up. So I rushed down there before they closed to see if I could grab it, they said it wasn't in today and they have not shipped it out yet from another store.  <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... /angry.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='>:(' />

He said it would be in on Monday for sure, I basically told them that if it isn't in on Monday I am canceling the order outright. I only noticed this week that it is the store policy is to charge a 30% cancellation fee, if it doesn't arrive on Monday they have agreed to waive that fee.

I know it is mostly out of their hands, but this experience is likely to leave me looking elsewhere next time for off-road products.

Let them know that to!  I had equally bad experience with Modern Motors so I think when I get the spacer lift on the H2 - I'm going to pop over to E-Mortal Customs.

That's where Brian goes and he really likes them... they also have a pretty inpressive website with some of the shit they have already done.

That is interesting to hear, I dealt almost exclusively with Modern Motors with parts for my Jeep about 4 years ago; I was always really happy with the level of service they provided to me, I even had my Jeep lifted at their shop and they really took their time and made it right for me. It actually handled better than stock and had noticeably less vibration in the drive train when they finished.

In any case, whether it arrives or not this is coming to a conclusion tomorrow; I am 99% sure it is on back order and they are just trying to stall for more time to get it in.

Last time I ran into a case like this where I was getting the run around on a back-order it took over 4 months to get my order in... that was over at TunerWorks. I am not going through a repeat of that.

What brands does E-Mortal Customs carry btw? I didn't see it mentioned on their site.

I honestly have no idea... I haven't spoken to them yet - I just know the name. I think they just do the work. You tell them what you want and they'll get it for you type of thing...

So I barely caught them on Saturday, I phoned in twice and got put on hold for over 15 minutes each time before I was either mysteriously disconnected or hung up.

Then I rushed down there, as I arrived it was exactly closing time so they locked the door.... so I waited outside until I caught one of them and asked him if I could grab my compressor quickly.

No compressor, it never arrived. He said it would likely be in on Monday... I said if it wasn't in I was canceling the order. Monday came and went, they left a message on my home phone that it was for sure being shipped and now was arriving on the 27th, they also had a tracking number for me.

Phoned in today to grab the tracking number, but the guy wasn't in the shop.

So tomorrow I am going to give them a call in the afternoon and either I am going down to pick it up after work... or I am going down to cancel.

Never again...  <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... lleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='::)' />

I suppose it is a good thing, I was going to place an order for a T-Max from them back in early mid Jan when I was originally supposed to pick it up. I changed my mind to a hydraulic winch recently, I will just order it from online instead.

Just in time too, I am headed out to Ghost lake this weekend to do a driving course... will be nice to be able to air down and air up my tires quickly in the cold.
