Cheap Roof Rails?

I was hoping to pick up some dirt cheap roof rails for my H3T, in the past I have just found matching cars at a junkyard and pulled them off for 20 or 30$.... so far with a Hummer, no such luck.



Where do wrecked Hummers end up? I figure that somebody must be hording them somewhere!

Need a dash piece without getting raped... dealer wants almost $400 for a piece of friggin plastic.....

I found a few places that sell used ones... for 200$ each  <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/ohmy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' />



What a rip, it is a plastic connector and a bar. For that price I could buy an entire rack for the roof!

Many Hummers like Toyotas are stripped by dealers and body shops for parts. Wrecks generally go to auction so very few wind up as open scrap anyway. Best bet is to find someone who's put on racks like Gobi units and have removed their OEM bars

I gave up looking for used ones and got a set from ebay for just under $200. cad. delivered.  Dont need them on till the summer but at least now I have them.

I got them from this guy got to me in about a week.  The only issue I have at the moment is UPS charged me $30 instead of the $10 the seller guaranteed me.  At the moment he is working on getting me a refund for the difference.

I think I've pretty much decided that i fit better in the H2 so an focussing on trying to get the H3 sold. Looking at consigning if I can find a place that won't try to insert any foreign objects into my sphinter!! Gotta admit - the H2 catches more eyes than the H3....



Still open to either but this waiting around is pissing me off cuz I dunna wanna buy any more toys until I know what I have left.... Fate is a bitch!
