The Jeep guys made a video about 2 weeks ago... same route we took actually. It looked more sloppy and slushy than when we were out there.
(Same video camera as Steve actually)

It sounds like we are getting some heavy snow in and around Calgary tonight, not sure if Cohcrane is in for that too.

Re: Alberta Run
Watching that makes me feel better!
At's are definitely the best out there right now! But I also agree with you Nick - I really don;t think I aired down enough so will air down to about 30 - 32 on Saturday...

Re: Alberta Run
I think we'll probably be playing it by ear for the route. The weather forcast looks a like a bit of snow the next couple days and then clearing Saturday. If its cool then the quad trails won't be too bad, but if it's icey like it was last time we'll want to stick to the truck trails.
Either way, I'll be going a little lower with the pressures then I was last time as well. Probably run 25 PSI or so.

Re: Alberta Run
Looking forward to it!
The excitement... it builds <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/grin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';D' />
I have my portable compressor this time around so I can go down to around the 20psi mark as well without worrying about getting back.

Re: Alberta Run
Yeah I think the compressor will be on my list too....
I picked up a new strap and 2 7/8 shackles so I'm all set there....
I shouldn't have to have my @ss hauled around this time - I played a bit is a field and my traction was awesome without airing down so I have High hopes.... I swear man, if I have problems this time, selling both Humma's and buying a Jeep!!! ...eeeeeyyyuuuccckkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bet that guy with the little white XJ would trade you straight accross for your H2 <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... iggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />
I think you shoudl be fine, one of the guys coming out with his FJ has exactly the same size Pro-Comp tires you did btw.

Re: Alberta Run
I pulled the side steps off the H2 today so all set....
I'm tempted to bring the H3 and simply air down to minimum and see how they do... But then again I've been looking forward to getting the H2 out!

So here's a little clip from last time out. I might have to buy a new computer before I get too far into this video editing.

The Jeeps I mentioned before are out... something came up for my freind.
FJ Cruiser is still in, he is looking forward to coming out. It is his first time ever off-road... although his rig makes him look like a seasoned pro!
