We should be proud
Why GM not selling Hummer was a great idea. Well for starters I think I answer for a lot of people when I say that I would rather an American Idea stays an American product. I purchased the Hummer b/c it was american inspired and american made. We know what it take to build an american off-road vehicle as it was build for american soilders in the worlds worst environments. By GM not selling the brand, there is an huge sigh of releif to know the brand has a chance to come back strong and not watered down. I say leave the cars to China but the Hummers to America. Tell me what you think my fellow Hummers. <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... SMILEY.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':woot:' />

I agree it's good that GM did not sell off the Hummer division to China, I'm disappointed to see it come to an end as it is an American icon just like jeep. Rest assured that there are lots of them still out there doing the job they were intended to do, I see lots of them everyday at my job at the Kandahar Airfield in Afghanistan.
