Depending on where everyone meets, the 1A is a nice drive as well, you can take it to the Seebe turnoff which takes you just about right to K Country or drive it all the way to Canmore. Once you hit Morley though, the road is too narrow for an H1 so it's definitely not the best for everyone.
Forgot to add, Waiparous first would be a hoot.

Re: Meet and Greet for ablerta
Good point - it's a fun road so we can take the 1A to Seebe and hook up with the TC there and into Canmore
Sounds like it will be fun.... Just not sure which Hummer to bring... Probably the H3

Which Hummer to take... I wish I had a problem like that! Brian gets credit for the 1A caution and H1's not fitting, I never would have thought of that myself.

Re: Meet and Greet for ablerta
Hello Everyone
I'm thinking we might skip waiparous this time around. And save the mud for next month. This may give a few of the members that dont 4x4 there rigs a chance to get out and show there stuff off.
That being said.
I was thinking of meeting in Cochrane at Smittys for a quick breakfast for who ever may be interested but unfortunately Smittys is currently under construction until the middle or March. As far as that we will be meeting across from Tim Hortons and traveling out as a group.
We will leave Cochrane and go west on Trans Canada to the Kananaskis turn off.
From there we will continue the back way into Canmore and proceed to Tim Hortons.Arriving at 3pm
At Tims this will give us a chance to share info, tricks and tips about your rigs. And of coarse to show them off a little bit.
So if everyone's in with this idea..
Try to have your truck clean as possible please, that way everyone can take a peek if they want.
We will be meeting in the parking lot across from Tim Hortons in Cochrane Alberta located just off hwy 22 @ 10am...
Hope to see a lot of new faces and rigs out there. And ill keep you posted on breakfast at Smittys.
Thank you all
Brian

Yeah that's not a bad idea Brian. Understandable that not everyone wants to wheel their trucks. Not that I agree... But I respect the choice. I'd pick 'go' over 'show' every time! Everyone's got their own thing though, gotta respect that at least!
