Re: Suspension upgrade
I wouldn't go Rancho...
I've heard Bilstein are the best ones to go with.... That's what I plan to upgrade to.

Re: Suspension upgrade
I am running the Bilstein/Firestone air shock up front and a 5100 series Bilstein Shock in the rear! Way better than Stock Ride!

Re: Suspension upgrade
I know this is an old post but i am wondering what other shocks you guys have used or heard someone is using on their H2. I have the original's still on my '03 and i am looking for replacements. I like the Rancho 5000 series that are adjustable on the shock it's self but a frend mentioned the new Fox Racing shocks..said they are hard to beat these days. I am also looking at these Hotchkis Sport Comp Sway Bars and Trailing arms for my rig as well, anybody heard good or bad news on these?

A buddy of mine had the ranchos installed in his H3 SUT.... 5 weeks and they were FUBAR he went back to standard and hasn't had any problems since. That was 2 years ago and he is off road everyday.
I'm looking at Bilstein, I used them back in europe and never had any issues and they give a better ride.

Re: Suspension upgrade
I agree, I have had the ranchos and never found they ride good...just harsh. My Bilsteins however are amazing!
