hi i have a 2003 h2 with 355/60/20 nitto mud grappler tires with 6 inch suspension lift, my t-case chain skips under to much load(not on highway) just when taking off, where can i find the driven sprocket or a good used case? i went to the dealership and they cant find me a driven sprocket, but they say it costs 344$ but they can get me the 314$ one and the chain, what do i do?they can offer a new case for 3500$ i dont want to go there.

I have access to internal parts for your transfer case much cheaper then the dealer and i also have a used unit available that we may be able to steal some parts.I worked at the dealer for years and i have not heard or seen this problem before but i am sure we can remedy that for you. Pleas feel free to call me at 905-455-8888 steve or come by the shop, we are located at 8044 dixie road in brampton (dixie and steeles) thanks

Any transmission shop should be able to rebuild your transfer case for much less than $3500. Also I would IMMEDIATLY stop driving your truck. It is only a matter of time before the chain comes through the Casing and then you will need a whole lot more than a rebuild.

well i have the same problem with mine,it all started last summer.chain woreout called dealer for parts cheaper to buy THE HUMMER BRAND then parts to repair tcase.found new chain, seals, bearings, aftermarket but no sprokets.so i rebuilt it without replaceing the sprokets, chain has not lasted long gone again.emailed borgwarner for parts they said gm is the only place to buy service parts Image .replacing complete tcase is the cheapest option for meImage
