I am thinking Kev is right as I had the windshield replaced. I will look there first. Already looked through the sunroof at the deflector and everything else up top...all tight and good to go. Kev, without me going out to look, how do those mouldings come off?? Is it relatively easy? What can I do if the idiot took the foam off....silicone??

Just get some self adhesive foam strips from your local auto parts store. Try to get one that would be 3/4 to 1" thick!

Open your front doors, you should see the mounting screws along the inside edge...you will need to pull the rubber moulding down to access them.

Got another one now....just after arriving in Florida, I got another new noise. If I turn on the blower for the AC unit, it makes a rattling sound...almost like some leaves have been sucked into the system. Is this possible?? How do I fix this noise...although it is not nearly as bothersome as the other one.

Sounds like you have a squirrel problem!! <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... oflmao.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rotflmao:' />

No Seriously, on your 05 you should have filters for your hvac ducts. Locate the cover remove the one bolt and pull out the filter and change them, DO NOT CLEAN THEM!! If you don't have a filter, remove the blower motor and vaccum it and the housing it sits in! Both of these should fix the problem! Unless you really do have a squirrel in there!! Or better yet since you are in florida...it could be a tiny lizard!!!

better a vacant squirrel than an ex cat that warmed himself on engine. When started engine belt took care of cat with much screaming and mess. <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... ngsick.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
