I was checking out the amperage draws of the 12,500 VS the 9,500, it is way easier on the electrical system to go bigger.

If you assume the winch is just pulling the weight of my truck (6000lbs)

12,500lbs winch draws 220 amps

9,500lbs winch draws 335 amps <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... prised.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

crazy!

Not to mention, being able to finally pull an H2 out... priceless <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... /laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Not yet, I just ordered it on Thursday... looking at the status it should be here Monday, but realistically I am expecting UPS to give me a call tomorrow at work with customs information so I can get it cleared at the border.

This week for sure though, I am excited!

Remember your physics instead of pulling an H2 out you may pull your H3 in tie it down well first.

Especially if the guy in the H2 was trying to get back at you and thereby tricked you to pull you in!!! <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... oflmao.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rotflmao:' /> <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... oflmao.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rotflmao:' />

lol, good point!

Hey T.C. Did you get the Pull-Master products in yet? I was hoping to get a Super Yanker from you!

Also, the guy who crashed his Jeep after one of our open runs from earlier this year is just looking at buying another vehicle... any chance you can help him out with getting another ARB bumper?

His old one... well; you get the picture

What does everybody do for Winch disconnects?

Do you leave the winch wired 24/7 or do you have a relay or large disconnect to cut the power to it? I am a bit worried about run-down on the battery.

All H1 winches are wired direct with no disconnects and no problems.

Most H2s use quick disconnects since we have to install our winches and then remove them to be able to open the hood.

Most H3s install the winch in a bumper so they are wired direct.

While it is fine to do this, you could always run it thru a switch and a relay...just make sure the relay can deal with over 400amps of load...otherwise your winch will work well...once!
