Re: Spring Fling!
eyyyaaa.....
Plus it is kinda fun hiding the eggs and I have the feeling that this will be the last year before they figure it out! Especially seeing how we picked up the bunnies from Bernhard Callibot... and the wife left them at the front door and of course...what's teh first thing they see when they get home from school???
Oh well - had to end sometime..... "those are for clients of Dady's".... sounds good until they see the same ones Sunday morning!

Re: Spring Fling!
Sadly my Mom still hides Easter eggs when I come over for Sunday dinner... usually about 100 or so.... and then she guilts me into finding them because she forgets where they are and starts to freak out they will melt if we don't find all of them. <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... /crazy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
sigh....
sigh....

^^ My friend is bringing his neighbor too... who has an H2
Also, I haven't seen Steve post on this thread yet. Has somebody gotten a hold of him to see if he is coming?
Where is Karl these days?

Re: Spring Fling!
He posted a couple days ago... 80% sure he's coming.... he couldn;t pass this up as we have a good group going this time.
Last I spoke with Karl - He has a project he was working on in Mexico. He said he would be there for a few months so I guess he should be back pretty quick here..
I don't see the bumble bee on the lot at David Pontiac anymore so he'll be temporarily hummerless but I have the feeling he'll be grabbing an H2 pretty quick...

Re: Spring Fling!
I was out there today, conditions are not bad at all.
There is still a bit of snow in the last leg towards the falls... although that hill we ran into last time was dry all the way down.... but the last corner at the top was a sheer sheet of ice and we ended up just stopping at the top again. It reminded me too much of the Beyond trip where we got stuck forever on that ice hill.
Away from the falls things are dry higher up, lots of dust and bare trails. Starting to get soupy in the lower lying areas though. While a lot of puddles were iced over on the top they broke through very easily. As soon as you got to areas that were exposed in the sun the bogs have started to really thaw out and offer a pretty good challenge.
I would expect if the warm weather holds until this weekend you can expect a lot of muddy trails.
BTW: My truck is freaking unstoppable with these new tires!!!!
