Good tires are half the battle. You can have all the horsepower and lockers in the world and it won't do a lick of good it your tires won't grab.

is anyone else having troubles with a/c tension-er pulleys? this is like the 10th one since i've owned the truck..

its just getting expensive replacing pulleys and belts.and it sure sucks in the summer

Mine cratered last September, and the belt about 3 miles later. If it's such a common problem then it might be worth finding a way to put in a sealed bearing; it can't be all that hard.

Dudes, I am soo pumped..... I'll probably be a little emotional too as this will be my final run with my H3 and then it goes bye-bye when my wife's new pilot comes in (2-3 weeks..)

But I'm glad to be down to one vehicle that I can hopefully play with now... I ended up spending more money when I wanted to have some left over... life seems to work that way...

But for the next run - hopefully will be all ready to go...

Lots of lovely plans... tires & suspension first, then the compressor and lockers....
Live life like there is no tomorrow!! You never know what's around the next corner.....

Have you been through Cochrane before, Gaza? It's a fairly small town so you shouldn't have any troubles, but I can PM you my cell if you think you might want some directions the morning of. I live in Cochrane and thus am well qualified to give directions!

Yep I got that sucker leveled last night and the tires are going on today! I didn't go with the keys though, just cranked the bars. Cheap as free, eh?! You were right the whole time though Brian, I just decided to get the 35s so no regrets later on! Same tires as you and Nick, the Toyo MTs.

Did you guys to the south get any of the snow? There wasn't much accumulation here, but the couple inches we got blew around for 8 hours. Didn't feel much like spring at all this morning.

Anybody been to Gary Fort Industries?

I was thinking about going after work today to see what kind of tow straps they might have in stock, but I don't know if they have an actual big store front or if it is just a little side shop... I keep picturing myself walking into this little shop awkwardly while some guy named Dirk in the back is playing a banjo and glaring at me with his one good eye.

What did you pay for your tires? If you got a better deal than me you should send Dave to the same place so he can save a few more bucks on his.

One more side note: I have somebody's tree-saver strap in my truck from last time... no idea who's it is.
