I have been running Toyo M/Ts for the last 4 years and LOVE THEM! I did alot of research on them and I can say that they are everything and more! Quiet and smooth on the highway and unbelievable grip on rocks and in mud! When this set wears out...I will be putting on another for sure!! I run th 37x13.50R17 and I greatly appreciate the 4300lbs load carrying capacity...no other tire comes close to that!!
I have heard horror stories about the Kuhmos...very bad shakes at low speed when braking and lots of lean on the highway around corners and they wear fast!!
I have also had a set of MTRs but on my suburban...they are excellent tires...great grip in mud, fairly quiet and smooth ride...and they wear like iron...got over 120000km out of my last set!!! And yes they where mud slicks when they were done!
Hope this helps!!!
Kev

I think I'll simply leave the decision with my Tire guy when the time comes.....Always intended on the Toyo's but I like BF Goodrich as well....

Re: Tires
I just ordered 35" toyo Mt's on 18" rockstars from Rimzoneonline for $1899 (installed, balanced and with spline lugs) PLUS $175 shipped to Maine. They will be my summer tires. I got Mickey MTZ's for the winter and they are really good in the snow.

Re: Tires
Okay our H3 has gone off road with the Kumho Roadventure KL71 on nice bite in fact we pulled another H3 out of the mud. Tires also helped ward off a Sunfire which ran into our right rear.
