Looking For The Rest Of The Set Of Tires - H1

Post by tylerlisk »

Hey everyone,

When I got my truck it came with one 38x15.5R16.5 Super Swamper tire mounted on a two piece rim. Does anyone know where the three other might be? or possibly is anyone have three that they would like to sell? Right now I have the basic military tires on the truck (but they are re-threaded) I am worried that if I ever blew a tire I would be screwed! So with this the other question is, does anyone have any used military Humvee tires kickin around that they would want to sell as well. I have seen some in the states used for about $90 or so.

Just trying to see what my different options are.

Thanks,

Tyler

Can get new MT's ,my cost is about $300 each plus pick up cost which is a 6 hr drive one way.Best to buy a few sets if I do this.

Working on 4+ sets of 80%+ threads from the states shipped here...cost still to be determined.

I do have a new set of MT's on the floor, but they are not cheap, cost me a lot more when I got these.Roughly $450 each

Thanks Roy,

Keep me posted, I was just thinking of what I would do if I ever got a flat tire! Also, currently my money is tied up in another expense! (ha ha, what else is new)I think both of my rear shock absorbers are shot. The back end really bounces and when I go over and sort of bump like a speed bump I hear a loud bang.

Ohh, and thanks again for all your help with all the questions Roy, your a HUGE help to us Hummer owners!!

Yes sounds like the shocks are done. The noise you heard is when the shock tops' out fast-- no resistance,no shock
