Have you changed the rubber seal on the plug? Threads still good or dos=es the plug need replacing? Start here and we can go from that.

havent checked yet still half a tank left. would a bout plug work better? something to bite and plug the hole but still removeable.

Opps ,was thinking of the oil drain plug,

This is the fuel drain plug right!? Mine was leaking ,then I tightened up the screw which I assume spreads the plug to get tighter.Fixed my leak.Once you empty the tank I would remove and inspect, making sure the nut and screw work smoothly. Then replace and tighten.Pray and put 20L in to check....Not sure if there is a sealant to seal rubber to fiberglass with diesel as the fluid.

tightened the screw seemed to stop it for now. guess i will go till it breaks and worry about it then. now does anyone know why my turbo will stop and then go back on again? does it hurt to drive the truck if the turbo is not working 100%? how much boost should their be when cruzen at 100 km mine sits between 5 and 10 lbs of boost. this truck kills me lol! also its now starting to run hot when i pull my trailer. never did before. also if you push it a bit like hitting 120km to pass. i got a two fan after market job that works. the fans can keep up when the trailer is not on the truck. would maybe changeing out the thermostate work? man i love this truck lol!

Not a thermostat problem, leave them at stock setting as the computer modifies fuel intake to temperature of engine.Try a rad flush ,exterior if you were mudding, interior if rad is aged.Lift the top 2 rads up to wash the mud+ out of the fins.Check the clutch fan for operation.Should roar for 30 sec. on start up then calm down till the clutch heats up from the rad.

The turbo...could be vacuum pump failing,MAP sensor,or the control switch.I have had the $20 control switch go yearly, till I install a mechanical turbo Also the MAP $130 .The vacuum pump $140. Around here we are checking into multiple H1's for the same overheating problem.
