Sorry, but sounds like you need the tow truck on speed dial!!!! Time for an upgrade to an H2 and think about parking outside of the parking garages....I fit my H2 in one...just had a buddy drive in front of me and watch the top...had to reverse around a low hanging 4 inch water supply line as I missed it by about 1/8 of an inch...too close for me, but otherwise I was able to park....barely...but able!!!!

The falls would be great! I was actually at the lake last Friday and I cannot even describe how bad the mosquito were! I couldn't breathe with my mouth open... Covered head to toe in Off spray and smoking like a chimney, nothing could keep them away!!



Had my fishing stuff with me and wandered to the lake, walked for about 2 minutes and headed straight back since it was just unbearable!!



If you can think of a good routing for the transfer case breather let me know!!

I had to work outdoors logging for a few summers in bug infested areas like that, actually worse. In addition to the mosquitoes there were these big fat mutant horse flies the size of your thumb that would actually bite out a huge penny sized chunk of your skin and leave you bleeding like you were stabbed if they got a chance to land. You always knew when they were coming, they sounded like an approching helicopter from over 50 feet away and it was deafening when they were circling in for the kill. Think what a bumble bee times 10 would sound like, lol.



If you actually managed to hit one of them down, and I mean really hard... either you had to stomp on it a few times to kill it or my favorite was to shove a huge foot long branch up thier arse which only lets them fly straight up. Plus it hilariously confuses people when they see a full size branch fly <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... oflmao.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rotflmao:' />



Try soaking your cloths in diesel fuel... it is a bit extreme, but man does it work like a charm.

You know where I found some good horse flies actually?! The mud pit! I had to hit a few holes with my brother and his girlfriend, the horse flies were terrifying! Not to mention that whole area stunk like shat! No poo to be seen but wow the smell was there...

LOL - I dealt with my fair share up in Cold Lake and Man Nick's description is accurate!!!



You can actually hear them coming in for you long before you actually see the buggers and they are pretty friggin hard to miss!!!! I saw one pick up a small goat and carry it off!!!

The worst part is when you can hear them circling around like a tuba and suddenly it stops... either it landed to take a rest or you have about 1 second to get it the hell off you before they bite down; ugg, makes my skin crawl just thinking about it!







^^ You have to try the stick trick if you get a chance... if you knock em' down (which usually only stuns them) you can jam a stick up thier arse and the fly straight upward forever!

Back from Montanna and that was a blast - finally have my dash piece I needed to heading outside to install that now... Funny $192 in the States, $428 in Canada.... just watch - I'm sure when I look at it closely..I'll see a made in Canada tag somewhere.



Anyways - Getting pumped for next Saturday!!!! Hopefully I'll make the whole trip this time!! Still have to pop out and get some new Large sockets to be safe - and add some long bolts to the "repair kit"....
