2011 Hummer West Expedition

I thought I would get a thread going on this now for discussion purposes.



Anybody interested in doing a 2-4 multi-day expedition trip next spring?



While it is still cold and miserable here it is usually already +25 over in some of the areas I am thinking about.



These would be some of the candidates:

Wipsaw looks like a cool trip, the two first ones have some pretty hairy trails.



One of the big differences is the mentality of a trip like this; focus is spent more on reaching key milestones and locations along the way & not breaking your truck by passing areas through the least path of resistance on trails. The areas are very remote, you don't want to break anything if you can help it.



I have always wanted to do a trip like this, looks like a lot of fun.

This is an amazing idea which I am definitely in for. Me and Brian were talking about this as well and agreed that it's a great idea.



I'll do some snooping and give my 2 cents on the locations! At a glance though it seems like a tough decision since it all looks impressive.

The ferry they take at the start... I would have been stranded on the right hand side right where they get off. Ahhhh, memories.
