Re: Rocky Mountain GTG
Hi All, I am a new member here and this trip sounds like fun. I would be interested in either Banff or Jasper. I've had my H1 a year now and have not had the chance to go off roading with another hummer so count me in. <edited><editID>crawler</editID><editDate>2006-08-30 13:16:06</editDate></edited>

I am keeping my open for an H1, myself. If I could get decent financing through my bank, it might be more of an option, but I haven't spoken to them since I bought my H2. It is nice to have more H1 owners in the group, just because the couple we have feel left out. <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> Our coffee meet is tomorrow and I hope to nail down a date by then. I'll keep you updated here.

Awesome! I am going to work on a list of attendees shortly, and keep it updated here in the forums. It will make it easier for people to see what is happening at a glance.

I am steering strongly towards JPL. Saskatchewan River Crossing closes in November, I believe. (I found this out after hoping to fuel up there and then coming into Jasper on fumes.) There are a couple lodges that stay open throughout the winter along Highway 93, but JPL is the most well-known location in the park, and during non-peak season, is not too expensive for what you get. (And it gives people something to do right there for an hour or two, because of the shops in the promenade.)
