Just a quick follow up.... I went and took a few more daytime measurements and pics to confirm as i am very interested in this mount even if I have to redrill my own mounting holes below as that is not an issue.

I have also seen on the CHO forum that you and Nate have also discussed the trays and Nate clarified measurements being slightly smaller for the group 34 which is better definately for an H2.

This is what Artec listed in the other forum:

You'll want to do some measuring to check:

Group 34: Outside dimensions of mount: D: 10" x W: 14 3/4" x H: 8" (Height does not include terminal posts on battery).

Group 25/35: Outside dimensions of mount: D: 9 3/8" x W: 14 7/8" H: 8" (Height does not include terminal posts on battery).

I just realized the original post dimensions were wrong. These above are correct.

If the battery tray measurement is as Nate listed in the other forum as the following to the outside of the mounting tabs for the top hold downs it may just fit with the optima batteries being rounded at the top corners to clear the rad mount as shown close up in my last pic and just clear the hose enough.

I like this battery tray very much and that is why I have looked very closely at what it would take to make it work. I don't mind at all making modifications for attaching the tray if indeed I can get it to fit. I would like to fit 2 of the biggest batteries possible, thus looking at the group 34 over the 25/35 model.

I just wanted all to know I am just verifying measurements and see clearly that this is a very nice looking battery tray that will ensure the batteries stay in place once installed. I like the design and would love to see one sitting even on the bench with 2 batteries sitting in place as the rad brace and hose are the only thing I see being a problem possibly as it can not be moved for obvios reasons.

I think it is a great idea and the Hummer Logo on top is a nice touch as well even if it is not seen much under the hood.

I cant edit my post on here Road Warrior, but to let everyone else know he is correct the dimensions are

Group 34: Outside dimensions of mount: D: 10" x W: 14 3/4" x H: 8"(Height

does not include terminal posts on battery).

Group 25/35: Outside dimensions of mount: 9 3/8" x W: 14 7/8" H: 8"

(Height does not include terminal posts on battery).
