Alberta - Oct 25th - Beyond Trail Run

Post by Sugarphreak »

So in light of the fact that once agian, I got complety screwed on going out on a trail run because it was that time of the month for my truck... I am decided to tag along with a Beyond run next Saturday to get my mud-fix.

The trail to the falls is opening up again next weekend... that is the one they will likely be taking.

Basically it is a whole bunch of random, mostly stock vehicles going... mostly equipped with AT tires and tow points. If this doesn't sound like a fantastic recepie for fun, well... I don't know what does!

Does anybody else want to come along?

I'd love to but I have to pass..... I checked with the wife and I got an evil look for suggesting another run so soon..... But I did check though!

In the end I'd be hesitant to go out with them anyways..... If you can't rely on the people you go with..makes for a very tense run!

There are a few of them I can count on; Victor (from CT4WD), Trevor (Beyond Admin), Sebastion (Used to be a Fitfreak member), Eric (Jeep Rubi, has come out with us twice) Zenon (another Jeep Rubi guy).

Becides Dave, you can always count on me <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

For the most part there are a lot of stock trucks in addition to those, new guys just looking to learn the ropes... maybe push thier vehicles a bit. I am not expecting an overly hard run, they want to wrap it up by around 2:30pm so everybody can get back home for Halloween.

Should be a decent run, my Hummer always looks like the ultimate 4x4 at these runs which is kind of fun... must be how Gary feels on our runs <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/cool.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='8)' />

Thats the spirit! <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... rgreen.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

my plan is just to "tag along" in an unofficial capacity... no leading or making decisions, maybe tow out a few trucks when they get stuck. Kind of like an observer for NATO... <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />

Plan is to meet around 8:30am, roll out at 9:00am... usual meeting spot

The group is going to head directly out to the falls and back, the day should be wrapping up around 2:30 to 3:00pm.

Now... I just need my truck back from the shop
