What do us Canucks use for WINTER oil
Hey guys, anyone got any recommendations for oil brands or weights? Looking to switch over to synthetic for the winter, and wanted to know what everyone else is running, and what they think. I live in Winterpeg, Manitoba, so temps do hit -40 C in winter. Keep this in mind lol.

I don't have an H-1, but for my baby (H2), I will only use Mobile one 5-30..
If it gets that cold there... may want to look at a 5-20...

Re: What do us Canucks use for WINTER oil
So as of yesterday -
Engine - Rotella T6 5w40 Synthetic w/ a quart of Lucas Syn Oil Stabilizer
Diffs - Eneos full synthetic 75w90
Hubs - Lucas Hub Oil
New Fuel Filter
New K&N Oil Filter
New x 2 800 CCA Batteries (to replace the 550CCA batteries that came with the truck
)
Stanadyne Diesel Winter Additive
Extended the Coolant heater plug
Next week
Tranny - a Syn ATF of my choosing, new gasket and filter
Coolant replacement w/ some watter wetter thrown in.
Horizon:
Oil pan warmer (the VW low-profile pad style) to complement my coolant heater
Compustar 2way remote start (main reason: temperature-activated starting)
What am I missing?
