Im looking at that gobi website and i gotta say those racks are deadly... hows the install on that? it says no drilling required, and whats the price on them? Available only from the gobi website? Not sure which ones I like better, what do you guys think?

I think you should talk to TC about roof racks...that's what I think....

Tim at Expedition hardware has great deals on them, thats where i got my stealth from for my H2 in May. 1499 with a ladder delivered to Maine, then I went and picked it up. Only 1 hole to drill for the ladder.

GOBI Stealth, hands down for your 3. How do I know? I ran one on my 3 and it was the best money spent. Opens up a ton of much needed room inside the 3 for road trips, and these things are not just pretty, they are STOUT! I've been on the roof of the 3 with my wife and daughter and it doesn't even flinch.

Installation on the 3 is NO drilling, all bracket mount, even the ladder. Super easy, the clamps all secure very well to existing pieces on your truck and it doesn't take any more mechanical skill than some simple measuring and putting nuts & bolts together.

I've never dealt with T.C., but he is the man on the Canadian forums, so I'd recommend using him. Tim G is our guy over on HUMMER Off Road and is extremely familiar with GOBI--he's worked for the owners for years and has sold and installed more racks than I'd want to count.

Regardless, alot of people complain about the price of these--sure they're pricey, but they're not just built for bling--they are 100% functional and well worth the coin.

On H3's gobi racks install by one removing front track end caps then sliding off the factory racks.

Next a set I recall 4 per side of mounts go into tracks and are locked down. replace the end caps andfinally the gobi rack is put on and bolted to the mounts and your done . except for lights etc. check around some still have racks with free shipping and rear door ladder. Also racks have sunroof or no sunroof options and insert to cover openning in rack floor.
