I kinda like that idea of a spray rubber compound for the floors.... kinda makes sense especially for Karl whom must have watched a James Bond movie before last Saturday or that submersable Hummer commercial and thought he'd try it out! <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/ohmy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' />

That was funny parking on the angle so it could drain..... man that brought back memories of last year!

Speaking of mud... do you find that the mud at McLean is like damn concrete?! I had a heck of a time getting the thing cleaned up this time an easy $40 and it wasn't even that bad!

I'm glad you said that... Hell yah!!!

When i was doing the brakes I had to clean out the calipres first with a paint scraper!!! It is like friggin glue man!! We need to find a trail that has a nice water hole at the end with a solid bottom like in waiprous man, that makes a difference!!! I thought my wheel wells were clean.... nodda - looked at the top of them and they are still caked in mud!!!!

But.... I am liking McLean..... really really nice area!!! I had a ball again going out on Sunday as it seemed soo relaxed and we had a good game plan for repairs and I was confident it could be done, and I only got in a wittle bit o' trouble for being late to my own birfday party.. lol And man was it warm!!! warmer than the Saturday!

I am glad we left it though as it was a fairly simple repair that prevented any damage if we tried to continue...... adding more nuts, bolts, and large washer to teh offraoding kit!

Yeah McLean is definitely a nice area, good change of pace for sure and the trail system seems quite varied as far as terrain goes.

I was checking out the trail maps and it seems like even though McLean is a much smaller area than Waiparous I have a suspicion that there are actually more truck trails at McLean!

Tell me what you think... Waiparous Map - McLean Map

Definitely worth heading to McLean again!! So when's the next trip... <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... ght_on.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':right_on:' />

I totally agree... I've heard that the trails at McLean will actually take you into BC.... that would be a fun overnight trip eh?!

I don't think my next run will be until march/April now but we'll see... I don't like the risk of the winter runs...

ok so me and my buddy scott (Fj) checked out that "alberta safari park" and it was fun but different ...theres some pretty hardcore trails in there ...the guy that runs it (Lee) said he has to do some work on the trails ...due to two many guys with huge tires , the ruts are waaaay to deep . Got high centered a couple times ...We didnt go to hard cause it was just me and scott and our co pilots ...heres a couple pics of the trail trucks the owner uses

ps hey nick the guy is selling the 4 runner for $6200...its a stick lol
