Toronto area TOY MOUNTAIN

Post by shotgun-cam »

Okay here we go I'm contacting ctv about a possible Hummer club drive in and give either the 25th or 30th first is at the Sony Centre downtown ( possible tickets to Grinch there) the other at a warehouse on Railside. Let's do this early so as to present a valuable challenge. Anyone else in for this. Ron

Can you elaborate a bit more, and just call me stupid. If it is in Toronto I will likely join the caravan.

Derek I'm not commiting the club to anything what I wanted to know if club wanted to join in. Kevin and I have given in a number of toys to this charity in years past. Much like the food drive. If you say no then We will still give but will not mention the club. The events are at 6 pm till 7pm on air and I'm trying to get more information and yes Tom Brown does alot of charity events. Just thought a few Hummers giving toys would look good. P.S. Most of the stuffed toys I win at Fairs and ribfests for a few bucks.

That sounds good Ron, what day are you planning on making a trip and when, where, time? let's see how much interest we have and if we could get 5 or 6 trucks to show up, it would be great...is CTV there everyday? if so at what time?

Anyways I believe any and all good for the community is great and if the Club can help in any way or fashion we will for sure do so, we have some toys here I would be happy to donate!

let me know if you have more details Ron... thanks

Derek the event floats to various locations the kick off is at the Sony Centre on the 25th and has a chance of winning tickets to Grinch musical. The 30th is at the sally anne warehouse on Railside I was trying to find one early that we could use the trucks as backdrops for the handover of the toys. The time is from 6 pm till 7 pm ( for the evening news ).
