Transfer Case Not Engaging 4Low

John...congratulations on getting the Hummer back. If you are still having problems with it going into 4 low and locking the diff....I would suggest sending a PM to Kevin (Polar Bear) as he is a good bet on knowing what is up or Steve at Master Mechanics (Olishooter) and Roy. Between those guys and a complete list of symptoms, they can probably figure it out.

I think the rear locker will only engage in 4 Low. Will the transfer case shift from 4 Hi unlocked to 4 Hi locked? You also have to be in Neutral and less than 5km/h I think it is, to shift into 4 Lo. Can you hear anything moving/engaging when trying to engage 4 Lo? Hopefully it is just a loose wire or stiff linkage that is preventing it from engaging.

is this a push button 4x4 truck as a h2 hummer

if tranny was just removed and it worked before check your plugs on the servo motor make sure all pins are pushed in

could be faulty servo motor or yikes !!!! TRANSFER CASE FAILURE !!! hope this may help
