have to check the 2 brake switches--they move once in a while , fuses, then the wiring.Could be the signal arm on the column....

I believe the signal arm is golden and the fuses I know are good...but the brake switches could be causing it.. not sure how to check them... advice or is it a trip to Phil's for this one?

use ohm meter to check for the switch to work w+wo brake apply.Scan tool is easier. How do you know the signal arm is okay?? horn + signals work,so, what about the other contacts in the arm. That is if your arm contains all of these. <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... unsure.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Re: Cruise Control Not working
I arm has all those features...and yes they all work... all I saying is that it seems odd that the cruise would stop from the arm magically...I wish i had a scan tool.. that would make my life easy...

spot checking the brake switch is easy, just remove the cover above the break pedal then bend and twist your body to look up in front of the arm that goes to the break and you will see the switches. I have also seen write ups on electrical issues with the cruise control as well as over sensitive switches could be either.

I have to admit Austin... I have been lazy and not had a chance to yet, also so damn cold outside... not sure if I will get at it yet...but as soon as I can climb under it without freezing off body parts, it will be the first thing i check
