Peel Police - BeerFermentors Moving Through Region - Expect Delays
Peel – A Wide Load Escortcontaining six beer fermentors will be making their way through the Region ofPeel on Saturday, January 8, 2011, and Sunday, January 9, 2011.
Peel Regional Police would like to advise the public that due to the size ofthe beer fermentors, traffic congestion and temporary service disruption may beincurred during the times of travel.
The beer fermentors are expected to make their way into the Region of Peeleither late-night Saturday, January 8, 2011, or in the early morning of Sunday,January 9, 2011. They will come to a stop by 6:00 a.m., on Sunday, January9, 2011.
The escort will resume again at 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 9, 2011, andtravel into York Region.
Below is the anticipated route of travel;
Saturday,January 8, 2011
Steeles Avenue eastbound to
Mississauga Road southbound to
Mississauga Road, north of highway 407 (by 6:00 a.m.)
Sunday, January9, 2011, 9:00 p.m.
Mississauga Road – north of Highway 407 to
Derry Road eastbound to
Bramalea Road northbound to
Queen Street eastbound to York Region.
Due to the size of the fermentors, it is possible that power lines, cablelines and traffic signals will be temporarily suspended.

CTV on home site for Toronto has a link to progress listings on this move. The Tanks are coming from Hamilton To Molson's plant on Carlingview Dr (427& 401).

At 2 am saturday morning the move is way behind as Hamilton Hydro wasn't prepared. Trucks most likely to not make first stop point.

ok fermentors made it to molsons On monday morning at 4 am approx. almost a week late . last run was from Woodbine Race Track via Grand Stand dr to back of track over a level crossing to Carlingview to Disco then over to 27 at Belfield then south to off ramp just north of Dixon over to Atwell and south to Dixon then west to Carlingview and south to plant. Heres pics of tank #1 going under raised wire and turning note tractor of Second tank following.
