Re: March Ride
I'm going to head down there this weak and pick up my Cobra, the price there is $249 so by the time I pay for shipping and duty (They call it brokerage now as they send via UPS - no brokerage if it goes via U.S. Post, but it arrives in many many many pieces.....) it's only $20 buck for to buy it now...
Still tossng and turning for install locations. I posted some ideas in the H2 section and I was going to mount it on the roof and run the cable through as shown in number one - but I think I may switch that to the rear instead and mount it on the tire carrier....

Keep your eye on this section of the forum, we usually have something planned almost every month once spring arrives!

Re: March Ride
WE'RE a pretty close group I'd say so you're more than welcome to come down. There isn't alot around Edmonton from what i hear but we're always open... McLean Creak and Waiparous areas are the cats meow from the offroad lover as you'll run into a bit of everything!
One of our buddies is selling his H2 and will hopefully get something 4X4 right after as I hope to do another run into racehorse creek again this year. It's a little far as it starts just north of Coleman but was one heck of memorable trip!
We're planning a fun run on the 19th and we meet up in Cochrane. Let us know if interested and we can send you a map.

Let me know the details, what time, where in cochrane to meet, I see if I can make it. Used to live in Calgary and have spent quite a bit of time 4x4ing at both places. Hopefully my schedule stays open and I can make it down.

Re: March Ride
Here is where we meet at roughly 9:00am sharp - not too many of us going on this run so just a fly by the seat of our pants fun run....
It's a parking lot right across from Tim Horton's.

Great group of people so definitely think about heading out on the 19th, always a blast. I have a broken Hummer and in between trading it for a H2 so this is the first outing I will miss in more than a year!!
