H2 question

Hello everyone,



I have a quick H2 question, does it matter where your H2 spare tire is mounted? My H3 and I am pretty sure all H3's are mounted on the back door. Just wanted to know your thoughts?

I put mine up on my roof to max out my space...in my H2 is was originally inside

older H2's are mounted inside the rear which is why most like Dwaxman move it out so they can dramatically increase the cargo room. If I'm not mistaken - around mid 2005 they started the rear carrier off the back which I have on my 08.

thanks guys, the more I was looking into it, it seemed that was a change, I have also found some kits that allow you to relocate to the outside, it just makes sence to me

The rear mount was always an option right from 03 but in the beginning it was Optional.. the standard was an inside mount...you for sure get more Cargo space and in the 03-06 model you could by an aftermarket double seat for the back to increase it to a 7 seater, with the tire inside and the single seat, there truly wasn't much space to put a bag of groceries..I wen with the roof mount because I also found the rear mount to cut down on being able to see out the back window..
