Picked up a 36" K30 magnetic mount antenna & an adapter for my handheld today at Flying J

Picked up my Cobra today and antenna - as soon as it gets a bit warmer - I'm installing that puppy!



I'm going with the rear tire carrier for the mounting location, one single 3500 watt Wilson.

That guy there was hillarious! I spoke to the lady before and she was a bit dry... but he was kewl!



Everything was... Oh I hav that! no pwobrem! he knows his stuff there which i really like! and then a good sense of humour... I'm sold! I was trying to bargain on the price and mentioned how much it is online so he goes... oh I can't comprete wif that, why you wanna buy online when you can talk wif me??

Nice, you should get some pretty spectacular reception with that antenna!



I will have to go check this shop out next time I need some CB equipment, that guy sounds pretty hilarious!

Found my Midland 75-822 mobile and portable Radio finally and delivered so if this weather holds out this time maybe Antenna installation can finally take place.

Will post pics once done as I hope others do as well of each installation idea that works for you.
