I though so, guess I'll have to get another red one.  I may use the top posts for my a/v stereo equipment once I lay them down sideways. <DIV></DIV><DIV> </DIV><DIV>I'm also wondering why there are 2 batteries. Not sure if mine has a winch but there doesn't seem to be alot of electronics in there. Is it because diesel enigines need more amps?</DIV>

All diesels require two batteries due to the excessive loads during start up, on their best day they would only need to deal with a minimum of 250 to 320 cranking amps for the starter and another 120 to 150 amps for the glow plugs. This may not seem like alot, but factor in ambient temperature, oil vicosity, humdity and you need every ounce of battery available, then add winching and well you get the picture!!! Remember even though a battery is rated for 800 CCA does not mean that is what you get, batteries are tested to 75% of their rated CCA and need to maintain above 9.6 volts  @ 75% rated CCA for at least 15 seconds. Play with temperature, connections, etc, etc and you'll quickly understand why you NEED TWO and the Bigger the Better!!!<DIV> </DIV><DIV>Kevin</DIV>
