[second one belongs to fella in kitchener its a 1986 m998 humvee 24 volt

has a very healthy 6.2 litre diesel if anyones interested in buying one



his plans where originally to put the cummins in it he found out about my swap through the great vines and wants a hand

going to be needing four full doors and a lid as well

have just clocked 7000kms since swap

have since fabed up new roofrack , new brush guard , rear tire carrier , still trying to get an alternator to hold up lol . the drivetrain been holding up well truck runs great

mods to come

methanol injection

larger in jectors

e lockers front and rear

paint next winter

Hummer just rolled 11000kms since the swap just got back from indianna without no issues

have since installed

Front and rear E lockers due to the low rpm cummins had to use the tallest gearing 2:56 auburns work awesome

added 2 extra cooling fans that come on when 4 low is selected

new 12k warn winch with sinthetic rope from Tom thanx dude !!

shit load of ligths

methanol injection on order

Outstanding, you make it sound sooo easy to do this swap <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... ngHead.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':banghead:' />, awesome pictures and i really like that exo cage over the hood like that adds to the truck perfectly.

trucks rolled 15000kms on it since swap

engine is pulling great

the 4l80e i had built is holding up perfect no issues at all !!!

have since upgraded to detroit rear locker auburn didnt hold up

got some nice rims off phil

methanol injection installed

going to upgrade the turbo again as well

may even consider installing 24 valve out of a 96 that still mechanical

getting readu to install complete turbo back from 4 inch to 5 inch to really piss people off lol !!!

so after alomost a year driving my hummer with the 12 valve cummins , just recently bougth a couple 24 valve engines

one has mad low kms and the other is a crate engine complete longblock

-migth be removing the 12 valve and installing a new 24 valve reasong being the 24 valve has more power and higher rpms and Im bored lol gotta do something if it gets done will post pics and have a healthy 12 valve for sale
