Oil pressure sending unit?

Post by hameee@hotmail.com »

Does anyone know a part # and or where to buy a oil pressure sending unit for a 95 H1 with a N/A 6.5? I tried going to the local parts store here in NB and had them look up a 95 6.5l truck and they couldn't find a listing. They did find one for a 1990 6.2l so i bought it thinking it would be the same, nope didn't have the same output signal.

I assume you are looking for the single wire Pressure sending unit.

AM General's Part number is: 6001037

cross reference show that it is part number: PS467 (Wells Ignition part number Wel-PS467-34)

Good Luck!

I also took mine off my previous engine (6.5) and put it on my duramax, but it gave out on me after about a minute of use. I assume that all the "old school" oil pressure sensors that are a one wire are the same but like i said earlier the one from the 6.2 was way off. So if the one that you used came off your chev 350 then one from that motor should work in mine also, as I would think we have the same gauges.

The Wells part number any Part Source or Napa can cross reference.

Best thing I could come up with was replacing all my gauges with VDO's from Summit Racing.
