I bought a Warn 9.5TI Multi Mount initially for the portability of using it for more then one vehicle as well as both ends.
I have the Warn Quick Connect Plugs on my Truck and both Hummers and switched thru their Power Solenoid Interupt Kit so noone can play around with the winch or plug power as it is de-energized until I switch it on inside. Works great for boosting someone as well and controlling isolation as soon as their vehicle has charge up and started. Always nice to show that Hummer Owners help out <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... iggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='
I made my own Booster Cable end using the 90" Quick Connect Power Cable made for the front of a vehicle an put a set of Procore solid copper HD 800 Amp clamps on the terminal end. Makes a neat easy to bundle up coil easy to store and have handy for boosting without having to open the hood when it is cold out and someone needs a boost and it is quick and easy with just plugging in to the front or back plug.
I bought 2 - Warn 9.5XP winches since and mounted one permanently in my Chevy Truck and one in my 08 SUV as they had a very high use Duty Cycle and a 6 hp, High Output Parallel Series Wound Motor and was still a mid body size winch. I can use my Multi mount on the rear of both and will be primary for my 05 SUT now so I have one for each vehicle and still like the multi mount portability.
I did look at the Endurance 12.0 but did not have the room for the air line fittings that it uses to cool the motor during use once it reaches a certain temperature with a blower fan and vent that has to be mounted up high under the hood. The 16.5ti was too big in size for my H2 bumpers as well.
I know there are lots out there to chose from and it is peace of mind to know it is there if needed. 3 winches means 3 times the accessories too now, snatch block, Clevis', Chains, Straps and Gloves,etc.. <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... ngHead.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':banghead:' />
