Darcey has done conversions on a H1 to Duramax and Cummins... swapping a H2 might be a good challenge for him... and he is a great guy to do the work!

] Doing some research now

as far as i know and I stand corrected you will need a donor truck 2004 and up to be compatible with wiring

you will need all wiring in and out as well as gauge cluster and possibly steering column ,

I know a guy in seaforth who did the swap couple years ago so going to get some more details from him

a body lift is almost manditory

and you may want to get rid of the semi float rear diff and get a full floater duramax migth spank the original

I know i can eliminate some stuff in the software to add and eliminate, i think h2 have a modified obd 2 system in them

Is this something you would like to be involved in or just get it done by someone

thanx darcy

I think you can do it Darcy....the H2 to duramax in Seaforth, was that a Burgundy colored 2004 H2 with a Silver roof rack? if so I have seen that truck three or four different times, it has switched owners a few times..not really sure of how it all worked out..

Also how much of the front suspension would you need to change? as well as Tranny and Transfer case?
