Sigh.... but it's still 5 weeks away.....

I think this has the making of the most fun run yet!!! I'm going to Email Mikey (Yellow H2) and see if I can't get him out. We should try Dan again as well.

MMMmmmm Ansoil! I am loving that stuff in the transmission, it makes so much difference!

I want to get more of that stuff in my truck too, my transfer case and front diff are calling for it!

Definitely dude! I did the rear diff and tcase last night and went for a spin and it's noticeably smoother already.. can't wait to do the front! It's amazing that it really does make a noticeable difference just swapping oil, that it some good chit! A little harder to get though so I ordered it in but definitely worth it, do you know of any place that stocks a full selection of the Amsoil? Mopac stocks full line Red Line and Royal Purple which would also be good choices but I just like the Amsoil, you know?

I sent an Email to Mike - I hope we can coax him to come along (I like having more people in my %$$%!@# age group so my grey hair doesn't feel so Grey). I've been thinking of planning a mid life crisis soon but can;t decide what to do...Image

I believe eclipse is from Lethbridge and goes by EclipseH1 on the site.

I'm hoping Karl has something by the 7th as well - always fun having him along....

Does Amsoil make that much of a difference? There is a retailer in Calgary but it looks like a residential address: http://www.worldsbes...3-397-6557.html. I will probably change my own oil all around this spring as my regular garage charged me almost a grand to do it last year so i dunna think I'll let him do dat again.... I'm still pulling out the poker on that one as i should have questioned him on that!

I just saw a post on Beyond stating that there is a warehouse in Edmonton and you can order it directly from their site and they will deliver to your door...

We should have an AMSoil changing party!

Guys guys guys.... I have a hookup for Amsoil over at my guys from Honda <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... e_wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

^^ Honestly Dave, I have experimented with all kinds of synthetics and I never really found any huge difference; but when I put Amsoil into the transmission of my truck, wow... huge improvement in smoothness and this is going to sound weird, but it feels more powerful on the highway now.

Give Honda West a call on Monday, ask for the parts desk... then ask for Jonathan Pinter. Tell him you know me from the Hummer Club and ask if he can hook you up with some Amsoil.

He is not a dealer, but somebody who works there is.

If you can't make it to Calgary during the dealer hours, you can pay with credit and I could even just pick it up for you one day on my way home. That way you can get it anytime.

Call me a doofus but will check on fluid capacities today and may give him a call. Engine, tranny, both diffs and the TC..

I'll do a head count later today and give Steve an Email. Will also be heading down to E-Mortal this week so will see if Rick's up for it as well. Maybe see if we can get a prize out of him too!

For mine I used 3 bottles in the rear diff, 2 for the transfer case and 2 for the front diff, not sure if yours would be the same though?! A cheap disposable bottle pump is a recommended accessory as well! So easy though and for what you save it's totally worth it. Gonna get the shop to do the tranny though I made enough mess just doing the diffs...

That'd be cool so see Rick some out again, nice guy! Haven't had enough of that Jeep yet either so definitely gotta see that thing again!! Hopefully we can convince Steve, Karl, Mike... all excellent dudes!
