Good Mechanic in the GTA - Problem listed.

Post by armike »

Hey guys, I have an 2006 H3 - I'm scared to take it into the stealership. I was never a big fan of taking my car to a place where the guys only job is to try to SELL you service and charge crazy diagnostic fees.

My own mechanic which I go to doesn't diagnose issues, he's just a `parts replacer`

Being a somewhat new owner of an H3, looking for a new mechanic who knows hummers..

I have a winding-up noise anytime I go over 20Km/sec --- I've tried popping it into neutral whiling doing about 30-40KM and the noise remains. The noise has gotten to be louder as the days go on.

The faster I go, the more I hear it....As the car slows down or stops, the sound goes away.

.

I only have 65,000KM on her, (she was in the garage for a few winters)

Any ideas or mechanics in the greater toronto area would be appreciated.

Thanks guys.

Thank you sir. I will check them out.. I'm running out of options. I went to 2 "mechanics" today, they are both nothing but "parts replacers"

The noise is coming from a wheel bearing or the differential.

Brampton South

7890 Hurontario St.

Brampton, ON

L6V 3N2

905-454-1333

Is that the location?
