OEM Brush guard Rusting
found that this winter did a number on my OEM brush guard on my H2, it is rusting but only on the welds and only on drivers side...weird, I will take some photos to post, anyone else experience it? might be time to sand blast it, and lineX it....

Mine is rusting a bit on the supports that go through the grill, but not enough for me to worry about it yet.

Mines's CHROME baby yeah!!!
LOL - But my tire carrier is rusting. I was planning on pulling it off this spring (if we ever get one) and doing the same thing. Must be an issue with the Black, and again - I always do diss GM quality.... as there is none.....

Have you tried using 'rust converter'...it's sold under a variety of trade names and can be purchased at any auto parts store. I used it quite a bit when doing a 'jeep restoration' project a few years back, it really does an outstanding job, especially for spot touch ups <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... e_wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='
