Okay, time has come where I might finally need to replace my Garmin Nuvi Handheld unit and there are so many on the market now...what do you suggest and recommend?? I have always had a Garmin but my H2 had a GM factory one in it, problem is the updated maps are like $200 a year, now a days you can buy a new GPS for less then that...so I always carried my Garmin Nuvi in case. As for our H1, I will be installing a Pioneer flip up NAV unit, thanks TOM...but I need a new GPS for our Car and as a back up...
What you have, pros and cons...

Re: GPS...
Well I prefer the Kenwood units. They come in many fancy shapes and integrate the Garmin System. I prefer the older models like the 7100 or 7140. I have a few newer ones as well like the 9140 but the graphics arent as nice in my opinion. So thats a nice solution if you are looking for everything all in 1. If not then the Garmin units themselves as a separate unit are also very nice. But they are almost the same price.

Re: GPS...
I was able to acquire a Pioneer AVIC-N3 unit from TOM, just need to get of my lazy butt to get it installed, either I try and work it out myself, go to a shop and get it done or stop being lazy and go and beg Tom to help out with the install, any way I do go, I need it soon, my list of items to do is growing long on my truck, I keep acquiring but they are collecting in my garage..
