Door Locks in winter

Post by SELWA »

Any issues with door locks in winter? I'm wondering if it's worth getting a keyless entry system for my 95.

My '97 wagon didn't have any problems with winters... as long as I plugged it in when the temps dropped below -15C !<DIV>The locks had plenty of opportunity to freeze as I'd park it in a heated garage overnight, and then on an outdoor lot during the day.  Keep in mind that I'm in Edmonton, so the winter days can be somewhat cool ImageImage</DIV>

Ontario winters can get quite cold some days as well. I wonder if the doors will get stuck. The 95 molding is not the greatest.

Never a problem on my '96, and I wash it fairly regularly in the winter.
