Awesome day guys, and great to meet you all. The civil road just isn't the same anymore!
I was amazed by the capabilities of the Hummer. Heck, a sheared off rear shock, and I could hardly notice the difference.
My first offroad 'trophy':
Cheers, Jeremy

You should mount that sucker to a wooden base and paint it gold!
haha, then when the next person freakishly breaks something you can award it to them <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... rgreen.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Re: Western Spring Fling!
June 4th works for me and keeps the spacing nice for july 14th BC run...
I think that's great idea... the covetted "Shocky" award.... I hope I never win it lol!!
Hopefully I will have my CB installed by then as well.
Because of all the mud, that trail was actually alot of fun!! Probably not too much too it though if it was completely dry as it really is flat the entire trail. I like the challenges of our regular route and crossing the river..
Man judging by how much snow is left out there... I wonder if some will still be left for June!!! Supposed to be an awesome work temperature wise for the next while so most of it should go...

Man I gotta say that is a bizarre break... that would be a fairly lightly loaded joint as the shocks aren't load bearing?? Whatever the cause I hope it won't stop you from coming out again, hate to say it but these things can and will happen to everyone eventually we've all been there!! Overall I'd say these machines are fairly durable and while my previous H3 did give me one major problem I still think it was a fluke break and overall took a fair amount of abuse without skipping a beat! The trick really is to drive with as little throttle as necessary and, even though this sound funny when describing an H2... a little finesse! These are great machines...
I'm liking the sound of June 4!!
The mud was a blast... I was excited to run that trail for the first time but yes it was a tad on the easy side... but the mud made it exciting!! I have a great video of you hitting that wicked hole Dave and I will get that online ASAP!!
Maybe try for the lake again in June doing the trail across from the pit?

Re: Western Spring Fling!
Hey All...
Kelton and I had a blast out there with you! Thanks for everything! Can't wait to come out again <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... /smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
By the end of the day the Komodo didn't fair too well. But the dealer had a flat deck at my house Monday evening to pick her up and assures me it's a few minor issues with the drive belt and the linkage and all covered under warranty. We'll see I guess!
Unfortunately can't make the 4th as I have a Mud Bog & Race in Taber that weekend. Anyone with a ATV or UTV is invited <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... /smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
