And my list of new items to install grows.....

Post by dwaxman1 »

Okay I need three more hours in each day, have way too many unfinished projects on my trucks, way too many new items stock piling up in my garage to get installed, and also a half done interior but what am I doing?? getting ready to go to Montreal Image

Who has the time to work in the rain and get everything done?? now I understand why TC always sent his truck into the Spa to get worked on..no time....from electrical to mechanical... the list grows...

Anyone experiencing the same??

I found that I had a broken tow hook bolt, and when I tried to remove the other tow hook, broke a second bolt. Now I have two bolts to drill out and replace before the Rally! Still need to pack the gear ... extraction gear, spare parts, chairs, cooler,.... !! So much to do, so little time!

I'm not stuck, I'm momentarily inconvenienced.

I hear ya!!!

What started on mine as installing an EGT and boost gauge turned into the following:

Turbo Oring replacement, but to the get the turbo out I did:

3" bodylift, this lead to removing the exhaust cause it pissed me off,

so now its straight piped and sounds AWESOME!!!

then I got carried away and did all of this while the interior was ripped apart:

Installed Dynamat Extreme sound deading materail in floor, footwells, along the tranny tunnel and engine cover.

Got a Heath programed ECU and Mechanical waste gate controller.

Installed a provent oil vapor seperator in the CDR line

fabbed up a rear head cooling kit

relocated the PMD

installed a upgraded fuel feed line from the filter to the injector pump

installed a water meth injectoin setup

decided to pull the monsoon head unit and am installing a pioneer AVH5300BT

put in all LED marker lights and custom fabbed LED tail/brake lights.

was hopin to have it all together for camping this weekend, alas I have had enough time to road test I dont know if I want to risk taking it out in the bush right away...

I still have to install my dual remote bypass filter setup, extend my bushgard mounts, and a plethora of little things

still have to order a new lift pump, a set of centramatic balancers and a steering box brace, and contemplating the wet wiper kit...

the list always seems to grow faster than it shrinks

and now my buddy is trying to convince me to put an intercooler on it... it isnt taking much convincing...
